Contact Lens Exam
Contact lens are medical devices that require a medical prescription and fitting. Yearly contact lens exams and fitting are important for good vision and health of the eye. A lens that fits poorly can lead to discomfort, swelling, inflammation, infection, and other problems that could cause permanent damage to the eye. Yearly visits also helps keep you informed of the latest contact lens materials and solutions for your eyes. Contact lens comes in primarily in two forms, soft and hard (RGP - Rigid Gas Permeable). Your doctor will help you in choosing the proper contacts and fit for your eyes.
